Mihajlo Pantić (1957, Belgrade), a prose writer, critic, university professor, editor in publishing houses and magazines. He made his literary debut in the early 1980s, publishing in the meantime more than forty titles of studies, essays, literary critiques and anthologies, nine story collections, some of which, such as Vonder u Berlinu (Vonder in Berlin), Novobeogradske priče (New-Belgrade Stories), Sedmi dan košave (The Seventh Day of Southeastern Wind) or collection Ako je to ljubav (If This Is Love) (Andrić Award, 2004), have gained substantial popularity among reading audiences. Mihajlo Pantić’ stories have been translated into about twenty languages and included into many anthologies and reviews in our country and abroad. Among his recent works are the capital title Anthology of Serbian Story 1-3, collection of stories entitled All Stories by Mihajlo Pantić 1-4, and storytelling collections Ovog puta o bolu (This Time about Pain) and Priče na putu (Stories on the Road).
