His prose \u2013 besides the sections of the \u2018Me\u0111aj\u2019 magazine (No.40, U\u017eice, 1997) and on nobler occasions, during the last decade, in the Letopis of Matica srpksa \u2013 was written about in the compendium <em>Serbian Contemporary Prose<\/em> (Trstenik, 2003), as well as in long thematic segments in the journals \u2018Gradina\u2019 (Ni\u0161, 2006) and \u2018Literature\u2019 (Belgrade, 2008).<br \/>\nThe author\u2019s prose has been a subject of books: <em>Radovan Beli Markovi\u0107, Stilske i jezi\u010dke igre<\/em> <em>(Playing with Style and Language)<\/em> (Valjevo, 2005) by <strong>Vitomir Vuleti\u0107<\/strong>; <em>Pesni\u010dko pripovedanje<\/em> <em>(Poetic Story-telling)<\/em> (Belgrade, 2006) by <strong>Stojan \u0110or\u0111i\u0107<\/strong>, as well as the compendium <em>The Prose of Radovan Beli Markovi\u0107<\/em>, from the scientific symposium on his work, with a selective bibliography composed by <strong>Branka Jovi\u0107<\/strong> (Valjevo, 2009).<br \/>\nHis prose has also been subject of doctoral theses \u2013 at the Faculty of Philology and Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade.<br \/>\nRadovan Beli Markovi\u0107 is a permanent member-associate of Matica srpska and Serbian PEN Centre.<br \/>\nHe lives and writes in Lajkovac.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Radovan BELI MARKOVI\u0106, born on 10th October 1947 in the village of \u0106elije near Lazarevac, writes short stories, novelettes and novels, publishing since 1969.
