He has published:<br \/>\nNovels: Put u Dvigrad (The Trip to Dvigrad) (1979, \u201cMilo\u0161 Crnjanski\u201d Award); Zapisi iz godine jagoda (Notes from the Year of Strawberries) (1983); Senke na zidu (Shadows on the Wall)(1985); Sudbina i komentari (Destiny and Commentaries) (1993, awards: \u201cMe\u0161a Selimovi\u0107\u201d, \u201cBorba\u2019s Best Book of the Year Award, <em>NIN\u2019s Best Novel of the Year Award<\/em>, in 2004 listed in the top ten novels awarded by NIN) and Savr\u0161eno se\u0107anje na smrt (A Perfect Memory of the Death) (2008, \u201cBora Stankovi\u0107\u201d Award).<br \/>\nBooks of stories: Izve\u0161taj o kugi (A Report on Plague) (1989, \u201cAndri\u0107\u201d Award); \u010covek koji je \u017eiveo u snovima (The Man Who Lived in Dreams) (1998, \u201cVital\u201d Book of the Year Award).<br \/>\nEssayist prose books: Ogled o ma\u010dki (A Study of A Cat) (1995), O Mikelan\u0111elu govore\u0107i (Speaking of Michelangelo) (2006) and Vizantijski internet (The Byzantine Internet) (2007, Ramond Serbic Award for the entire work), as well as the books of short essays: Upotreba vilenjaka (The Use of Elves) (2008)<br \/>\nselected press texts: Doga\u0111aj godine (The Event of the Year) (2010).<br \/>\nRadoslav Petkovi\u0107\u2019 stories are included in several anthologies published in our country and abroad.<br \/>\nHe has translated from English the books by Defoe, Chesterton, Stephenson and Tolkien.<br \/>\nRadoslav Petkovi\u0107\u2019 works have been translated into French, Greek, Hungarian, English, German, Russian, Italian, Slovakian and Bulgarian.<br \/>\nHe was a Secretary of the Ivo Andri\u0107 Endowment from 1988 to 1994, and the Director of the Institute for School Textbooks from 2001 to 2004.<br \/>\nMarried to Prof Dr Vladislava Gordi\u0107 Petkovi\u0107, he lives and works in Novi Sad.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RADOSLAV PETKOVI\u0106 was born in 1953 in Belgrade where he graduated from the Faculty of Philology, Yugoslav and General Literature Department.
