{"id":417,"date":"2013-03-18T12:07:39","date_gmt":"2013-03-18T11:07:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/prosefest.rs\/?p=417"},"modified":"2019-09-20T10:49:17","modified_gmt":"2019-09-20T09:49:17","slug":"vule-zuric","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prosefest.rs\/en\/2011\/vule-zuric\/","title":{"rendered":"Vule \u017duri\u0107"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/prosefest.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/Vule-Zuric-malo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-418\" alt=\"Vule Zuric\" src=\"http:\/\/prosefest.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/Vule-Zuric-malo.jpg\" width=\"275\" height=\"282\" \/><\/a>Vule \u017duri\u0107<\/strong> was born in Sarajevo in 1969.<br \/>\nHe has published the following books of stories: Umri mu\u0161ki (Die Hard), 1991, Dvije godine hladno\u0107e (Two Years of Coldness), 1995, U krevetu sa Madonom (In Bed with Madonna), 1998, Valceri i sno\u0161aji (Waltzes and Copulations), 2001, Muljin ru\u017e (Mouljin Rouge), 2003 and Katena\u010do (Catenaccio), 2011<br \/>\nnovels: Blagi dani zatim pro\u0111u (And Then the Holy Days Are Gone), 2001, Rinfuz (In Bulk), 2003, Tigrero, 2005, Crne \u0107urke i druga knjiga crnih \u0107urki (Black Turkeys and the Second Book of Black Turkeys), 2006, Mrtve brave (Dead Bolts), 2008, Narodnjakova smrt (The Death of a Folk Singer), 2009 and Nedelja pacova (The Week of the Rat), 2010.<br \/>\nHe has authored the following radio-dramas: Om\u010da od hartije (A Paper Noose), dedicated to the life and death of Bora Stankovi\u0107, \u010covek bez peripetija (A Man without Hassles), dedicated to Milan Raki\u0107, Ostrvo Uskokovi\u0107 (Island Uskokovi\u0107), dedicated to Milutin Uskokovi\u0107, Crni glas za belu hartiju (A Black Voice for White Paper), dedicated to Emanuil Jankovi\u0107 and Branin orfeuum u Zunzarinoj palate (Brana\u2019s Orpheum in Garbage Fly\u2019s Palace), dedicated to Brana Cvetkovi\u0107. The dramas, produced by the Radio Belgrade\u2019s Drama Programme have been aired on the waves of the National Service. He has also co-authored the screen play for the graduation film of Milo\u0161 Ajdinovi\u0107 Mrtav \u010duvek \u0161tuca (A Dead Man Hiccups).<br \/>\n\u017duri\u0107\u2019 stories have been translated into German, Polish, Slovenian, French, Portuguese, Spanish, English, Hungarian and Italian. In 2003 his selected stories were published in Italian under the title Stassera a mezzogiorno (Tonight at Noon) by Edizzioni Tagete.<br \/>\nHe lives in Pan\u010devo, where he leads a number of literary programmes, affirming the youngest generation of Pan\u010devo\u2019s authors.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vule \u017duri\u0107 was born in Sarajevo in 1969.
