He has also received the award of the <em>National Library of Serbia<\/em> for the most popular book (2002) as well as the \u2018Borislav Peki\u0107\u2019 and \u2018Branko Radi\u010devi\u0107\u2019 Awards.<br \/>\nDespite the cult status and controversial reactions that his works provoke in the most part of our cultural establishment \u2013 or maybe for this very reason \u2013 many of his prose works have seen several editions, while some of the titles are acknowledged best-sellers.<br \/>\nCollection of stories: <strong><em>The Golden Decade, Nisville, Caliber 23 for an Expert, Vulvarians, Zen Serbiana, Defense of Cities, Tell Mama, A Thing of Antiquity, Gang of Four, Hard Core Love, A Solid Heart, Body Guards; novels: Eavesdropping, The Hobo, Death in El Paso, Cesspool, The Night of All Saints; book of pop essays: The Wild Bunch\/Notes from a Dirty Young Man; poetry: Rio Bravo, Remix, Wah Wah, Secret Life in Serbia, Post, Poems on Trades; book \u2013 A Catalogue of Sponsors, The Magic Ghetto,<\/em><\/strong> (coauthored by<strong> Zlatko Risti\u0107 Pay<\/strong>a).<br \/>\nZoran \u0106iri\u0107 is the author of numerous essays on popular culture published in the period from 1990 to 1991 in former Yugoslavia\u2019s leading pop magazine \u2018Rhythm\u2019. Back in the early nineties he earned in the widest literary circles the title of \u201cSerbian Bukowski\u201d while today he is often regarded as \u201cthe founder of rock-and-roll literature in Serbia\u201d. He has published over a hundred columns in the magazines \u201cNIN\u201d, \u201cPlayboy\u201d, \u201cEurope,\u201d \u201cStandard\u201d, \u201cReporter\u201d, \u201cFun Time\u201d as well as in the daily papers \u201cPolitika\u201d and \u201cDanas\u201d. The only international jazz festival in Ni\u0161 is named after the title of his collection of stories, <em><strong>Nisville<\/strong><\/em>.
