He graduated from the Department of Serbian Literature and Language at the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad. He entered the literary scene in the mid-1990s, with his first published work appearing when he was 22. In 1995, he won the Young Poets\u2019 Festival in Vrbas. He is considered one of the most significant literary figures of his generation.<\/p>\n<p>His poems have been included in numerous collections and anthologies, and his work has been translated into English, German, Norwegian, Bulgarian, Greek, Macedonian, Hungarian, Slovak, Slovenian, and Rusyn. He has received numerous awards, including the Matica Srpska Zmaj Award, the <em>Me\u0161a Selimovi\u0107<\/em> Award, the <em>Branko Miljkovi\u0107<\/em> Award, the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts Award from the <em>Branko \u0106opi\u0107<\/em> Fund, the <em>Borislav Peki\u0107<\/em> Fund Award, the Prosveta Award, the <em>Branko<\/em> Award, the <em>Mati\u0107\u2019s Scarf<\/em>, the <em>Risto Ratkovi\u0107<\/em> Award, the <em>Miroslav Anti\u0107<\/em> Award, the <em>Vasko Popa<\/em> Award, and others.<\/p>\n<p>He has gained particular recognition as a writer for children and is considered a successor to Du\u0161ko Radovi\u0107, Dragan Luki\u0107, Dragan \u0110or\u0111evi\u0107, and Ljubivoje R\u0161umovi\u0107.
