Since then she has written:<br \/>\n<em><strong>Dunavski apokrifi<\/strong><\/em> (<strong><em>The Danube Apocrypha<\/em><\/strong>), a novelette collection, 1996<br \/>\n<em><strong>Strah i njegov sluga<\/strong><\/em> (<em><strong>Fear and Servant<\/strong><\/em>), a novel, 2000<br \/>\n<em><strong>Johann\u2019s 501<\/strong><\/em>, a novel, 2005<br \/>\nStrah i njegov sluga has been a finalist for the NIN Award and received the \u2019Isidora Sekuli\u0107\u2019 Award. A play produced after the motifs from this novel was staged at the BELEF festival in 2003. The novel has been translated into French and published under the title <em>La Peur et son valet<\/em> by GAIA Editions in 2006. The same title was translated into English in 2009 and published as <em>Fear and Servant<\/em> by Geopoetika. So far it has had seven Serbian editions.<br \/>\n<em>Johann\u2019s 501<\/em> has been included in the shortlist for the NIN Award and received the \u2019Lazar Ko\u00admar\u010di\u0107\u2019 Award for the best SF novel of the year in Serbia.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mirjana Novakovi\u0107 was born in 1966 in Belgrade.
