She teaches literature in the music high-school \u201cMokranjac\u201d in Belgrade.<\/p>\n<p>Novels: <b><i>The Guardians of Kazach Edge <\/i><\/b>and <b><i>The Icon<\/i><\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Collections of stories: <b><i>Finger in the Meat; The Shoes of Flea Color; Powder Magazine; The Twilight Zone; For the Seductresses Only; More Tiger-like Than the Ti\u00adger; Baby, Do You Love Me<\/i><\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Anthologies she has compiled: <b><i>\u201cQuickly\u201d <\/i><\/b>(of the world erotic stories), <b><i>\u201cFrrrrr\u201d <\/i><\/b>(of women\u2019s world erotic stories), and <b><i>\u201cMy Soul is in the Sea\u201d <\/i><\/b>(of the sea inspired stories).<\/p>\n<p>Awards: <i>\u201cBorislav Pekic\u201d <\/i>and the award <i>\u201cFollowing Isi\u00addora\u2019s Footsteps\u201d<\/i>, for the novel <i>\u201cThe Icon\u201d; <\/i>award <i>\u201cBilja\u00adna Jovanovic\u201d <\/i>of \u201cThe Pro Femina\u201d magazine for the stories <i>\u201cThe Shoes of the Flea Color\u201d<\/i>; award <i>\u201cLaza Kostic\u201d <\/i>and <i>\u201cWomen\u2019s Quill\u201d <\/i>for the stories <i>\u201cMore Tiger<\/i>&#8211;<i>like than the Tiger\u201d<\/i>; Andric\u2019s Award for the stories <i>\u201cBaby, Do You Love Me\u201d.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Her books and stories have been translated into Eng\u00adlish, Italian, French, Ukrainian, and Slovakian.<\/p>\n<p>She lives in Belgrade.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ljubica Arsic was born in 1955 in Belgrade.
