He finished elemen\u00adtary and high-school in Zemun. In Belgrade he gradu\u00adated in World Literature, and in T\u00fcbingen he graduated in Germanistics, Art History and Philosophy. He is the author of the novels: <b><i>T\u00fcbingen <\/i><\/b>(1990, Pan Dusicki) (was in the shortlist for the NIN Award), <b><i>Repetitions <\/i><\/b>(along with Scott Abbott) (1994, Vreme knjige), <b><i>Knifer <\/i><\/b>(1994, B92), <b><i>Emigrations <\/i><\/b>(1997, B92), <b><i>The Look <\/i><\/b>(2002, Stubovi kulture), <b><i>Vampires <\/i><\/b>(2008, is being prepared). \u00a0 \u00a0 He has translated twenty-two books written by Peter Handke. He is the editor of many miscellany and anthologies: \u201cAbout the Reception of Literature of Peter Handke\u201d (Literature critics Belgrade. 1986), \u201cAbout Art to Julius Knifer\u201d (Stuttgart 1990), \u201cAbout Work Difficulties in Cre\u00adating Art\u201d (Raspis 1987), \u201cAbout the Motive of Child\u00adhood and Family Life\u201d (Gornji Milanovac 1987), \u201cAbout Walking through Art and Literature\u201d (Stuttgart\/Ham\u00adburg 1989). He cooperated with the artist Era Milivojevic from 1971 to 1973: and had performances: \u201c<i>Medex\u201d <\/i>(Bitef, Bel\u00adgrade., 1971), \u201c<i>The Turtle\u201d <\/i>(SKC, Belgrade., 1972), \u201c<i>Swan Lake\u201d <\/i>(Gallery in a palace in Albania, Belgrade., 1973). Novel <i>Era. Memories of \u201eThe Turtle\u201c <\/i>(2008, being pre\u00adpared). Since 1978 he has been living in Germany. Since 1986 he has been cooperating with artist Julius Knifer from Zagreb. Monograph: <i>Julije Knifer. M\u00e4andar 1960<\/i>&#8211;<i>1990<\/i>. (Stuttgart: Flugasche 1990.) He was the editor of the German magazine for litera\u00adture and art <i>Das Nachtcaf\u00e9 <\/i>(Stuttgart, Klett-Cotta). Since 1990 he has been the editor of the radio <i>Deut\u00adsche Welle<\/i>. Since 2006 he has been cooperating with the artist Nina Pops. Book: \u201e<i>Peter Handke: Loss of the Picture (Der Bildverlust)<\/i>\u201c (double, parallel translation of the frag\u00adment of the novel into Serbian, and into the language of painting), (bibliophilic edition) in Cologne 2007. In 2008 he started working on the anthology of \u201cSer\u00adbian Prose in the Reception of Peter Handke \u201c. (Das Schreibheft, Hesse).
