Also the founder and manager of Centre for Geopoetics Publishing in 1993. At the moment the Director and Editor-in-Chief of Geopoetics Publishing, Belgrade.<\/p>\n<p>Vice president of Serbian PEN Centre. Nauka Publishing, Sofia (1999) and it\u2019s Russian edition is being prepared by Amphora, St. Peterburg. It is in the process of translation in English as well.<\/p>\n<p><b>The Druid of Sindidun <\/b>was published in Macedonia by Magor, Skopje (2002), in Bulgaria by Stigmati (2003) and is in the process of translation in several other languages. The whole book is available in manuscript translated in English.<\/p>\n<p><b>Europe Express <\/b>was published in Macedonia by Makedonija Prezent (2004).<\/p>\n<p><b>Haiku poems <\/b>were published in The International Anthology Four Seasons (Haiku Anthology in English and Japanese), Nagoya, Japan (1991) and in The World Anthology Haiku sans frontieres (Une anthologie mondiale), Orleans, Canada (1998).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><i>Book reviews<\/i><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Escape from Biography<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>The novel by Vladislav Bajac Escape from Biography is actually a novelized biography of \u0110or\u0111e \u0160agi\u0107, a Serb from the beginning of 19<sup>th<\/sup> century who reached America via Hungary and Germany after the crush of the Serbian uprising. He made a remarkable career in America. The novel abounds in stories about \u0160agi\u0107, aka Ribar, aka Fisher. Bajac uses his extraordinary narrative skill to tell a story about his involvement in the Mexican revolution, establishing the American customs service and National Bank&#8230; \u0160agi\u0107 is listed as one of the hundred most famous Americans.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><i>The Black Box<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a dry and formidable book written with consciousness and self-discipline, in which reality overtakes fiction and vice versa. It requires the full and constant attention on the part of the reader. Its short sentences, strings of events and parallel actions create great tension&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><i>The Druid of<\/i><\/b><b><i> <\/i><\/b><b><i>Sindidun<\/i><\/b><b><i><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>After the <i>Book of Bamboo,<\/i> ten years later, Bajac has again made as a novelistic surprise. Novels like <i>The Druid of<\/i><i> <\/i><i>Sindidun<\/i> are rare and belong to the category of such significant works which, making an attempt at comprehensiveness, reveal to readers only as much as they are able to perceive, keeping the layers they are not ready for hidden. With his latest book, Bajac has earned, I am sure, a place among the most significant con\u00adtemporary novelists of our country. (<i>Ljiljana \u0160op)<\/i><\/p>\n<p>What distinguishes this philosophical-historical novel is its great modern mastery. (<i>Svetozar <\/i><i>Koljevi\u0107<\/i>)<\/p>\n<p>There is something surprisingly confident in the carefully maintained tone of this book, the way it spins a web of wisdom around everything happening in this Celtic world of druids. This is a literary trip out of the boundaries of literature, a magic possibility to create worlds which vanished so long ago, with a subtle feel for the silent drama of their existence and a delicate, long shadow they cast up to our times. In any case, we haven\u2019t had this kind of book before. (<i>Dragoljub Stojadinovi\u0107<\/i>)<\/p>\n<p><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Europe Express<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>The book <i>Europe Express<\/i> is defined as \u2019a novel in stories\u2019 by its author, but it is primarily an essayistic travel journal, in which the best pages are the very ones where the author lets his eye on a journey\u2019 lead him and \u2019choose\u2019 his topic&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Europe on the Bull\u2019s Back<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Vladislav Bajac\u2019s prose is easy to read because of his style, and at the same time difficult, for its readers have to possess knowledge about civi\u00adlizations, magic, mythology, cross-cultural influences, and more than anything an ability to notice fantastic fiction born from his quirky perceptiveness. This book is not a simple collection of texts about places and people from different communities, it is rather a well-thought out work in which the author consciously underscores the connection between people\u2019s destinies which, in their wholeness, form the destiny of mankind.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><i>The Book of Bamboo <\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><i>The Book of Bamboo<\/i> is an extremely mature prose of high aesthetic quality. Its original form (fiction, essay and scientific apparatus), exotic scenery and convincingly directed plot reveal the hero\u2019s dilemmas as universal in time and space, characterizing even ours. It\u2019s a museum of incredible fairy tales, somewhere between the One Thousand and One Nights and Alice\u2019s Adventures in Wonderland&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Dream Coasters<\/i><\/b><b><i><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><i>Dream Coasters,<\/i> subtitled Geopolitical Fables, is a collection of stories which follow the form of a fable, including the moral at the end. By changing the morals in this new, modified edition, Vladislav Bajac transforms deadly seriousness into fantastical humour, closeness into openness.
