DARKO TUŠELJAKOVIĆ

Darko Tuševljaković was born in Zenica in 1978. Since 2002, he has published short and long-form fiction in literary magazines and anthologies in Serbia and the region. To date, he has published five novels: Senka naše želje (2010), Jaz (2016), Jägermeister (2019), Uzvišenost (2021), and Karota (2025), as well as three short story collections: Ljudske vibracije (2013), Naknadne istine (2017), and Hangar za snove (2022). His works have been shortlisted for the NIN, Vital, and Andrić Awards. He received the “Lazar Komarčić” Award for Best Novella and the European Union Prize for Literature for his novel Jaz, which has been translated into eight European languages. He received the prestigious NIN Award for his novel Karota.

He lives and works in Belgrade as an editor and translator.
