VLADIMIR KOPICL

Vladimir Kopicl (1949, General Janković) graduated in literature from the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad. He has published the following poetry collections: Aer (1978), Parafraze puta (1980), Gladni lavovi (1985), Vapaji & konstrukcije (1986), Pitanje poze (1992), Prikaze – nove i izabrane kratke pesme (1995), Klisurine (2002), Pesme smrti i razonode – izabrane i nove pesme (2002), Smernice (2006), Promašaji (2008), Sovin izbor – nove i izabrane pesme (2008), 27 pesama: tenkovi & lune (2011), Tufne – izabrane pesme (2013), H&Q (2013), Format zveri (2015), and Udaljeni bubnjevi (2020); as well as the novels Purpurna dekada: gotic herc roman 3D (2020), Španska čizma (2021), and Paklena putarina: meridijanski softkor (2022).

He has received the Branko Award (1979), the Sterija Award for Theatre Criticism (1989), the DKV Book of the Year Award (2003), the “Stevan Pešić” Award (2003), the EAST-WEST Award (2006), the Dis Award (2008), the “Desanka Maksimović” Award (2012), and the “Ramonda Serbica” Award (2017). He lives in Novi Sad.
